Li Mingxiang Meets with Anna Thandi Moraka, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa

Beijing, December 5th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Anna Thandi Moraka, Member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress (ANC) and Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa.


Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He said, the CPC is willing to work with the ANC to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and President Cyril Ramaphosa and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), strengthen high-level exchanges and political dialogue, firmly support each other on issues involving respective core interests and major concerns, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, promote practical cooperation in various fields and communication and coordination on international and regional affairs, and jointly promote China-South Africa all-round strategic cooperative partnership in the new era for better development. 

Moraka spoke highly of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and the remarkable results of China's cooperation with Africa. She said the ANC looks forward to learning the experience in state governance and administration from the CPC. The ANC is willing to, together with the Chinese side, firmly support each other, and jointly implement the ten partnership actions plans to advance modernization, so as to constantly push China-South Africa relations and the all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era for new achievements.
