Beijing, December 10th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation led by B. Batbaatar, Chairman of Civil Will–Green Party of Mongolia and member of the State Great Khural. Nyamaa Enkhbold, Mongolian Ambassador to China, was present.
Zhao said, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia, the 30th anniversary of the signing of the China-Mongolia Treaty of Friendly Relations and Cooperation and the 10th anniversary of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership, and is therefore an important opportunity to promote China-Mongolia relations. While developing China-Mongolia relations, the Chinese side sees the neighborhood diplomacy guideline that advocates amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and the right approach to friendship and interests, which were proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, as the fundamental guideline. The Chinese side is ready to work with all political parties of Mongolia, including the Civil Will–Green Party, to promote exchanges in various fields between the two countries, facilitate better implementation of major project cooperation, and contribute to the building of a China-Mongolia community with a shared future featuring peaceful co-existence, mutual support and mutual benefit and win-win results.
B. Batbaatar said, Civil Will–Green Party attaches great importance to relations with China and exchanges between the political parties of the two countries. It is willing to adhere to the one-China principle in handling Taiwan affairs , actively promote cooperation in major projects between the two countries, maintain close exchanges with the CPC at all levels and in all fields, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, and help Mongolia with its development and the development of Mongolia-China relations through inter-party exchanges.
