Zhao Shitong Meets with a Delegation of Mongolian People's Party

Beijing, February 14th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation led by Altai Khangai, Foreign Secretary of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP).  


Zhao said this year, China and Mongolia will carry out a series of high-level interactions to effectively lead and promote the development of China-Mongolia relations. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges at all levels and in all fields with the MPP, deepen political dialogue between the two countries, advance cooperation on major projects, promote friendly exchanges between young people, build political consensus and synergy, push China-Mongolia relations for better and more rapid development, and work together to cope with the changing and turbulent international and regional situations. 

Altai said, the MPP attaches high importance to developing relations with China and positively evaluates China's development achievements and contributions to the world. It is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with the Chinese side, implement the various exchange and cooperation plans proposed by both sides, strengthen cooperation, exchanges and mutual learning in areas such as green development, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and talent training, and promote greater development of Mongolia-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
