Beijing, April 11th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of political parties of Sao Tome and Principe led by Arlindo Barbosa, general secretary of the Movement for the Liberation of Sao Tome and Principe– Social Democratic Party. 

Li spoke positively of the relations between the political parties of China and Sao Tome and Principe and the relations between the two countries, and introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the CPC is ready to work with all parties in Sao Tome and Principe to fully implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance political mutual trust, firmly support each other, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the in-depth development of the strategic partnership between the two countries. 

Barbosa said, political parties in Sao Tome and Principe admire China's great achievements of economic and social development made under the leadership of the CPC, firmly support the one-China principle, and look forward to deepening inter-party exchanges and cooperation, learning the experience in state governance and administration from the CPC, and jointly pursuing modernization.
