Beijing, April 29th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today on the morning with Jon Fredriksen, Director General of the Department of Security Policy and the High North of Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at request. Vebjoern Dysvik, Ambassador of Norway to China, attended the meeting. 

Both sides spoke positively of the relations between the two countries and inter-party exchanges, and agreed to continue to deepen cooperation in areas such as economy, trade and Arctic affairs. Both sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
