Ma Hui Meets with a Delegation of the New Liberalism Party of Colombia

Beijing, May 8th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the New Liberalism party of Colombia led by Juan Manuel Galán, Leader of the New Liberalism party. 


Ma positively evaluated the China-Colombia relations, stating that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 45 years ago, the relations between the two countries have developed smoothly and cooperation in various fields has been continuously expanded. The CPC is willing to carry out political dialogue and exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration with friendly political parties in Colombia, including the New Liberalism party, and promote the continuous and healthy development of the strategic partnership between China and Colombia through inter-party channels. 

Galán said, this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Colombia and China. All sectors of Colombia have a high consensus on developing relations with China. The New Liberalism party admires China's achievements in economic and social development and is willing to strengthen friendly exchanges with the CPC to promote the bilateral relations to a new level and bring benefits to the people of both countries.
