Chen Zhou Meets with a Delegation of the CPP and the LPRP

Beijing, July 11th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), which came to China to attend the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting. 


Chen welcomed the delegation of the CPP and the LPRP to attend the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in China and said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the three Parties and the three countries, the China-Cambodia community with a shared future and the China-Laos community with a shared future enjoy continuous and in-depth development, setting a positive example for the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. People-to-people and cultural exchanges are an important area of building a community with a shared future. China is willing to work with Cambodia and Laos to implement the Global Civilization Initiative, promote people-to-people bonds, and promote the steady and long-term development of the building of a community with a shared future. 

Kam Sambath, member of the CPP Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the CPP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, and Vansy Kouamoua, Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos, highly praised China for successfully hosting the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting. They positively evaluated the development momentum of China-Cambodia and China-Laos relations, expressing their willingness to enhance dialogue and exchanges with China, promote people-to-people bonds, implement the Global Civilization Initiative, promote the solid progress of the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, better benefit respective countries and people, and make positive contributions to maintaining regional and global peace, stability, development and prosperity.
