Beijing, July 28th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Milia Jabbour, the outgoing Lebanese Ambassador to China.
Jin positively evaluated Jabbour's contributions to promoting China-Lebanon relations and inter-party exchanges during her tenure. He said, China attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with Lebanon and is willing to work with Lebanon to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, carry out exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, deepen cooperation in various fields, and promote continuous and greater development of China-Lebanon relations.
Jabbour thanked China for providing support and convenience for her work in China and expressed that Lebanon attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with China and the CPC. Lebanon is willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields with China to promote the continuous development of Lebanon-China relations.
The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
