Beijing, September 24th—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) of Nicaragua led by Guiomar Irias, Political Secretary of Masaya Department of Nicaragua. 

Ma said, since the resumption of diplomatic relations four years ago, China-Nicaragua relations have achieved leapfrog development. China always views its relations with Nicaragua from a strategic height and a long-term perspective, and highly appreciates Nicaragua's firm support on major international and regional issues. The CPC values the traditional friendship with the FSLN and is willing to continuously expand the breadth and depth of exchanges between the two Parties, and promote the sustained and stable development of China-Nicaragua relations. 

Irias said, Nicaragua and China respect each other and trust each other, and the cooperation between the two countries has achieved fruitful results. Nicaragua highly appreciates and supports the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the four major global initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping. The FSLN is willing to work with the CPC to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in party building and state governance, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the common development and prosperity of the two countries.
