Beijing, September 15th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Prosperity Party (PP) of Ethiopia led by Berhanu Feyisa, Vice Minister of Resource Administration Sector of Prosperity Party. 

Li introduced the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, briefed on the Global Governance Initiative, and positively evaluated the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He said, the CPC is willing to work with the PP to take the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali as guidance, provide firm political support for each other, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, and promote the continuous development of the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Ethiopia. 

Berhanu said, the friendship between Ethiopia and China has transcended time and has remained as strong as ever. Ethiopia is grateful for China's valuable support for its national development and firmly supports the four major global initiatives including the Global Governance Initiative. Ethiopia is willing to work with China to promote the establishment of a more just and reasonable global governance system. The PP hopes to strengthen institutionalized exchanges with the CPC, draw on the CPC's successful experience in leading China's rapid transformation, and promote Ethiopia's development and prosperity.
