Beijing, October 17th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the morning with Barbara Weisel, a scholar from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and former Assistant US Trade Representative for Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations and China-US economic and trade relations.
