Beijing, November 5th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with leaders of left-wing political parties and heads of think tanks from Western Europe and Latin America who came to China for the 15th World Socialism Forum.

Ma elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, stating that the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development have provided a top-level design and strategic blueprint for China's development over the next five years. It will inject more stability and positive energy into world peace and development and also offer more opportunities for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Western European and Latin American countries. The CPC is willing to further enhance friendly exchanges with left-wing political parties in Western Europe and Latin America, strengthen theoretical exchanges and mutual learning, consolidate political mutual trust, and jointly promote the steady and long-term development of China-Europe and China-Latin America relations. 

The foreign guests said, they pay close attention to the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the 15th Five-Year Plan and admire the CPC's scientific formulation and continuous implementation of five-year plans. They believe that the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics has further strengthened the confidence of the world's left-wing progressive forces in exploring their own development paths, maintaining social fairness and justice, and enhancing people's well-being. They expressed their willingness to further strengthen dialogue and exchanges with the CPC, learn experience in party governance and state administration from the CPC, and actively promote the development of Europe-China and Latin America-China relations, contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
