Beijing, March 4th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Theodora Gentzis, Secretary General of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Ma said, China and Belgium are all-round friendly cooperative partners. The CPC is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with major Belgian political parties, enhance mutual understanding and trust, and promote the sound and steady development of China–Belgium and China–Europe relations. 

Gentzis said, Belgium adheres to the one-China policy and supports inter-party exchanges between the two countries. Belgium hopes to maintain close communication and candid dialogue with China and promote Europe–China relations toward mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. 

Bruno Angelet, Belgian Ambassador to China, attended the meeting.
