Beijing, July 2nd—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the morning with a delegation of young cadres of the New Azerbaijan Party of Azerbaijan (YAP) led by Vugar Iskandarov, Member of the Supervisory Board of the YAP and Member of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis. 

Sun noted that, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Ilham Aliyev, the China-Azerbaijan comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained high-level development. The CPC is ready to work with the YAP to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen mutual learning in party governance and state governance experience, deepen young cadre exchanges, and help advance the cause of China-Azerbaijan friendship. 

Iskandarov extended warm congratulations on the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and highly praised the remarkable achievements China has made in advancing Chinese modernization under the leadership of the CPC. He said that the YAP is ready to continue close exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and jointly promote the vigorous development of the China-Azerbaijan comprehensive strategic partnership.
