Vienna, January 24th (Xinhua)—At the invitation of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), Li Xiaoxin, Member of Ministerial Affairs Committee and Head of Bureau I of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Austria from January 22nd to 24th where she promoted the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

During the visit, Li respectively met with Heinz-Christian Strache, Vice Chancellor of Austria, Norbert Hofer, Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology, Andreas Schieder, SPÖ Vice Chairman and Executive Chairman of the SPÖ Parliamentary Group, Reinhold Lopatka, Foreign Policy Spokesperson for the Austrian People's Party and Heinz Fischer, former Federal President and President of Austria-China Friendly Association and other leaders of Austria. Li also attended the special briefing session held by Chinese Embassy in Austria and delivered a keynote speech. Li comprehensively introduced relevant information and major achievements of the 19th CPC National Congress, and mainly expounded Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping.

Speaking positively of the global significance of the 19th CPC National Congress, the Austrian side expressed their sincere admiration for the grand goals set at the 19th CPC National Congress and that Austria attaches great importance to its relations with China and its exchanges with the CPC. Austria is willing to vigorously reinforce Austria-China and EU-China mutually beneficial cooperation under the “Belt and Road” framework.
