Beijing, May 29th—Chen Xi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Secretariat of the CPV Central Committee and President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Chen expressed that under the personal guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, China-Vietnam comprehensive and friendly cooperation has been constantly deepened. The CPC and the CPV are Marxist ruling parties. It is hoped that both sides will implement the important consensus reached by General Secretaries of the two parties on strengthening exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, strengthen unity and cooperation, and join hands to cope with risks and challenges along the path ahead.

Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed that Vietnam hopes to learn from the CPC’s experience in party governance and state administration to improve its governing capacity and promote its own national development.
