On the evening of May 29th, the IDCPC and the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee organized a promotion event in Wuhan for foreign political parties attending the thematic briefing on "Stories of CPC," with the purpose of providing an overview of the ongoing thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era.

Leaders and representatives of political parties from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe attentively listened as officials from the IDCPC and Hubei Province introduced the significance, goals, and implementation plans of the thematic education campaign. They acknowledged that the CPC continuously has conducted party education on different themes based on the development of its cause and changes in the situation, which is an effective measure to maintain ideological unity, ensure the implementation of party decisions, and promote theoretical construction and self-confidence within the party. It is an important experience for the CPC to strengthen its own construction and achieve great accomplishments in the new era. They believed it was worth studying and drawing lessons from.

Following the event, Agni Prasad Sapkota, vice chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), expressed in an interview with Chinese media, including www.thepaper.cn, that the world is currently experiencing changes unseen in a century. In this era of turbulence, Chinese modernization serves as a testament to the success of the Chinese path and offers a viable path and choice for Nepal's modernization.

He emphasized that Chinese modernization is a great practice of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era. It represents a fresh approach to modernization, one that aims to eradicate poverty and foster peaceful development. It sets itself apart from the Western model of modernization, thereby propelling China towards a prominent role on the global stage as a leading force.

He also expressed that he has been in China for quite some time now, and from the moment he set foot on Chinese soil, he immediately recognized the greatest advantage of Chinese socialism with Chinese characteristics: the leadership of the CPC. Witnessing the remarkable achievements in Hubei's development has made me realize the tangible results of their policy. With such a robust theoretical foundation and a formidable political party, nothing can stop China's rise and its path towards the world, he noted.

China is a promoter of world peace, said Agni Prasad Sapkota, adding that he hopes China can protect more small and weak countries and uphold justice for them.
