On the evening of May 29th, the IDCPC and the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee organized a promotion event in Wuhan for foreign political parties attending the thematic briefing on "Stories of CPC," with the purpose of providing an overview of the ongoing thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era.  

Leaders and representatives of political parties from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe attentively listened as officials from the IDCPC and Hubei Province introduced the significance, goals, and implementation plans of the thematic education campaign. They acknowledged that the CPC continuously has conducted party education on different themes based on the development of its cause and changes in the situation, which is an effective measure to maintain ideological unity, ensure the implementation of party decisions, and promote theoretical construction and self-confidence within the party. It is an important experience for the CPC to strengthen its own construction and achieve great accomplishments in the new era. They believed it was worth studying and drawing lessons from.  

The promotion has provided us with a deeper understanding of the ongoing CPC’s thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era, said François Janvier Yahouédéou, a member of the Political Bureau of Benin’s Republican Bloc and the spokesperson, when giving an interview to Chinese media, including www.thepaper.cn. We have also learned how this campaign has guided the progress and development of Hubei and China, he added.  

He also mentioned that continuously strengthening intra-party learning and education is a necessary requirement to maintain ideological unity within the party. It is also the most effective way for party members to stay true to their original aspirations and remember their missions. This is the essence of the CPC's thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era. Furthermore, we recognize that diverse theme-based practical and educational activities can effectively lead the people towards achieving social development, youth employment, and economic and social progress, he said.
