CPC's century-long journey left a deep impression on me. The CPC stays committed to meeting the Chinese people's aspirations for a better life and improving people's living standards, setting an example for the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC). This was how Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the Political Bureau and secretary of organization of the PCC Central Committee, felt after visiting the Museum of the Communist Party of China on the afternoon of April 23, 2023.
At the invitation of the CPC, Roberto Morales Ojeda led a PCC delegation to visit China from April 23rd to 28th, 2023. They made a special trip to the Museum of the Communist Party of China.
There they saw the restoration scene of site of the first CPC National Congress, the original design manuscript of the national flag of the People's Republic of China, lunar samples, data on poverty alleviation efforts and more. The delegation members stopped at those photos, cultural relics and restoration sites to listen attentively to the introduction and walked up to take a closer look.
At the photo wall of the main founding members of revolutionary base areas led by the CPC, Morales recognized many revolutionists and recalled their names.
Walking into the “4D+6 LED screens” panoramic cinema, the delegation watched scene recreations of the Long March, including the arduous Battle of the Xiangjiang River and the Battle of Luding Bridge. The toughness of climbing over snow-capped mountains and crossing grasslands moved them deeply.
Morales said building such a revolutionary landmark like the Museum of the Communist Party of China is not only paying tribute to revolutionary martyrs, but also to all people. He called it a great idea.
Walking along the tour route, the delegation experienced the high-tech program “Flying over China” to have a bird’s-eye view of the whole country. In the simulated cockpit of the Fuxing High-speed Train, the delegation members recorded the ever improving “China speed” with their phones.
This was amazing, Morales said. He added that the delegation really admired the achievements made by the Chinese people through their indomitable struggle, especially those in scientific innovation.
This visit gave him a deep understanding of the great cause created by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC, and at the same time made him feel the support and admiration of Chinese people for the CPC.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the Political Bureau and secretary of organization of the PCC Central Committee led the PCC delegation to visit the Museum of the Communist Party of China during his visit to China. Morales wrote his thoughts on the guestbook after his visit.
China is a world model in many areas, he said.
He pointed out that the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative and the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping contributed Chinese wisdom to the world.
To jointly build a better world, the PCC and the Cuban government would like to continuously deepen the long-standing and close friendship between our two peoples. May the friendship between China and Cuba last forever, he said.
