The Commemoration of the International Day of Peace was held in Shandong, China from September 19th to 21st. Charles Mubita, Member of the Politburo of the SWAPO Party of Namibia and the Rector of the Swapo Party School said in an interview with Southern Metropolis Daily that we must ensure that the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative are adhered to, where countries of the world come together as equals, not as masters or slaves, but as equals. Mubita stressed that the peace is not the absence of war, it is the existence of stability. Peace is the existence of an environment where there is no poverty. You cannot eat peace, but at the same time, you cannot eat without peace.
