Beijing, February 12th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Mohsen Bakhtiar, Iranian Ambassador to China.
Jin spoke positively of China-Iran relations and inter-party exchanges. He said, the CPC is willing to further deepen bilateral and multilateral exchanges and cooperation with Iranian political parties and political organizations, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration, promote exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and intensify communication and coordination on international and regional affairs, so as to help China-Iran relations achieve greater development.
Bakhtiar said the Iranian side attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with China and the CPC, and sincerely appreciates the three major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. Iran is willing to further strengthen concept exchanges and strategic communication with the CPC, strengthen cooperation and coordination on multilateral platforms for political parties such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, boost the development of respective countries, help the Global South grow, and safeguard international fairness and justice.
