Beijing, November 29th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a senior cadre study group of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Lê Hồng Quang, Member of the CPV Central Committee and Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court.
Song expressed that the relations between the two Parties hold key to China-Vietnam relations. In particular, President Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong having successful mutual visits in 2017 have charted the course for further development of China-Vietnam relations. Deepening the exchanges on state governance and administration between the political parties of China and Vietnam is a significant consensus reached by General Secretaries of the two Parties. China stands ready to conduct close cooperation with Vietnam, further enhance mutual learning, and constantly promote the Party building and national construction, in a bid to jointly boost the development of China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
Speaking positively of relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Lê Hồng Quang expressed that Vietnam pays high importance to developing Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and stands ready to closely cooperate with China to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by General Secretaries of the two Parties, and promote Vietnam-China traditional friendly relations for new progress.
