Beijing, August 29th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Alenka Suhadolnik, the outgoing Slovenian Ambassador to China.  

Liu spoke positively of Alenka Suhadolnik's contributions to promoting the development of China-Slovenia relations and inter-party exchanges between the two countries during her tenure. Liu said, in recent years, relations between the two countries have developed smoothly and cooperation in various fields has continued to expand. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Slovenian side to implement the strategic consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen inter-party exchanges, enhance political mutual trust, promote practical cooperation in various fields, and advance the development of China-Slovenia and China-Europe relations. 

Alenka Suhadolnik happily reviewed her work and life experience in China, saying that she personally participated in and witnessed the rapid development of Slovenia-China relations during her tenure, and truly felt the enthusiasm and friendship of the Chinese people. She thanked the IDCPC for its strong support for her work in China. After returning to Slovenia, she will continue to pay attention to and be committed to promoting the development of Slovenia-China and Europe-China relations.
