Liu Haixing Meets with Nguyen Minh Vu, Member of the CPV Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam

Beijing, March 30thLiu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Nguyen Minh Vu, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. 


Liu said, under the strategic guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary To Lam, China-Vietnam relations have maintained a strong development momentum. This year marks the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030) and also the start of a new era for Vietnam's national development. Standing at this new starting point in history, the CPC is willing to work with the CPV to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, strengthen high-level exchanges, enhance cooperation, consolidate the traditional friendship between the two Parties and the two countries, and make new contributions to the development of China-Vietnam relations. 


Nguyen said, after the conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the CPV, Vietnam and China have enjoyed more frequent high-level interactions, with political mutual trust further enhanced. Given the current increase in international challenges, Vietnam is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with China, deepen strategic coordination and cooperation, and promote the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future. 

Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the IDCPC, Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the IDCPC, and Pham Thanh Binh, Vietnamese Ambassador to China, were present.
