Beijing, April 20th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with Marc Vinck, Belgian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Belgium relations and the efforts made by Marc Vinck to promote the development of bilateral relations since taking office, Qian expressed that the Chinese side is willing to further enhance communication and dialogues between political parties of the two countries, in a bid to advance the development of national relations.

Marc Vinck noted that Belgium-China relations have continuously maintained a sound development momentum. Belgium is ready to deepen exchanges between political parties of the two countries through such means as promoting mutual visits by delegations and exchanges between young politicians to increase the Belgian political heavyweights’ understanding of China.
