Beijing, May 17th--Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the afternoon with Carole Bureau-Bonnard, Deputy Head of the French National Assembly and member of the national commission of La République En Marche (LREM). Bureau-Bonnard visited China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking positively about China-France relations, Qian expressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges with the LREM and promote the development of the relations between the two countries as well as briefed China’s new measures for opening up.
Bureau-Bonnard expressed that President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to China injected new vitality into France-China relations. The French side is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in various areas including parliaments, political parties and economy and trade.
