Beijing, May 22nd—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a cadre study group of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) of South Sudan headed by Deng Deng Hoc Yai, Minister of General Education and Instruction of South Sudan.
Li introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and China’s achievements and experience on reform and opening up over the past 40 years, and stressed that the CPC attaches importance to developing relations between the CPC and the SPLM as well as relations between the two countries, and is ready to further enhance exchanges between ruling parties of both countries, so as to promote bilateral relations to continuously move forward.
Deng Deng Hoc Yai congratulated on the great achievements made in reform and opening up under the leadership of the CPC, thanked the CPC and the Chinese government for supporting South Sudan in realizing peace, stability and development, and expressed that the SPLM is willing to learn from the CPC’s experience on party governance and state administration, in a bid to constantly improve the construction of the SPLM’s ruling capacity.
