Beijing, May 22nd--Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Osama Elmagdoub, Egyptian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Egypt relations, Li expressed that the CPC is willing to, together with the Egyptian side, actively implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state on developing China-Egypt relations and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries, so as to benefit the two peoples.

Both sides also exchanged views on promoting the development of China-Egypt relations through party-to-party channel.
