From November 25th to 28th, Du Jiahao, Secretary of Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPC, led a CPC delegation to visit Laos, during which he met with Bounnhang Vorachit, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and Lao President, Phankham Viphavanh, Member of the Political Bureau of the LPRP Central Committee, Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the LPRP Central Committee and Lao Vice President, Sinlavong Khoutphaythoun, Member of the Political Bureau of the LPRP Central Committee, and Governor and Mayor of Vientiane as well as Sounthone Xayachack, Head of the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. Du expressed the willingness to enhance exchanges between the two Parties, and deepen practical cooperation, so as to promote the unbreakable China-Laos community of shared future. The Lao side is willing to well implement the important consensus reached by the two Parties and enhance practical cooperation between Laos and Hunan. Du also attended economic, trade and cultural activities including the signing of the sister city, enterprise docking and agricultural cooperation.
