Beijing, November 28th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Archil Kalandia, newly-appointed Georgian Ambassador to China.

Qian expressed that China- Georgia relations have enjoyed healthy and stable development in recent years. The two countries have actively conducted cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, achieving fruitful outcomes. The CPC is willing to deepen exchanges with political parties of Georgia on the basis of existing sound cooperation to promote the constant development of relations between the two countries and bilateral practical cooperation in various fields.

Kalandia noted that paying high importance to developing relations between the two countries, Georgia is willing to deepen bilateral inter-party exchanges, actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, and promote Georgia-China cooperation to achieve more outcomes to benefit the two peoples.
