Beijing, April 11th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Hikmat Hajiyev, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration.

Guo spoke positively of China-Azerbaijan relations as well as inter-party exchanges, and expressed that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Azerbaijani side to comprehensively implement the consensus reached by leaders of the two countries to make positive contributions to the further development of China-Azerbaijan relations.

Hajiyev noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to developing its relations with China, and is willing to actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative as always. The Azerbaijani Presidential Administration will give play to its role to promote Azerbaijan-relations as well as inter-party cooperation for continuous and new progress.
