At the invitation of the Liberal Democratic Party, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, visited Japan from April 10th to 12th. During his stay in Japan, Qian met respectively with Toshihiro Nikai, Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan; Tetsuo Saito, Secretary-General of the New Komeito Party; Keiichi Ishii, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; Koizumi Ryuji, Director-General of the International Bureau of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan. They exchanged views on China-Japan relations, exchanges between political parties of the two countries, the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and other topics.
