Beijing, April 16th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Hans-Peter Friedrich, Vice-President of the German Bundestag.

Qian made positive comments on China-Germany relations and party-to-party exchanges, expressing willingness to work with Germany to further enhance political mutual trust and push for continuous development of China-Germany cooperation in various fields.

Friedrich said that Germany attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is willing to strengthen Germany-China economic and trade cooperation and communication and coordination in international affairs.
