Beijing, September 6th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Rashed Khan Menon, Chairman of Workers Party of Bangladesh.

Speaking positively of the current development of China-Bangladesh relations, Guo said that the CPC is willing to maintain friendly exchanges with the Workers Party and provide impetus for China and Bangladesh in jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative and cooperation in various fields.

Menon warmly congratulated on the great development achievements made since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, saying that the Workers Party hopes to learn the CPC’s experience in party governance and state administration and will continue to firmly support the development of Bangladesh-China friendly relations.
