Beijing, October 17th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a study group of Saudi Arabian political personages headed by Abdulaziz Bin Salamah, former Deputy Minister of the Culture and Information of Saudi Arabia.

Wang spoke positively of China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership, saying that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Saudi Arabia's Consultative Assembly, government agencies, think tanks and media to promote the development of state-to-state relations. Wang also introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era based on the 70 years of achievements of the CPC’s governance.

Salamah extended warm congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, saying that Saudi Arabia cherishes its friendly relations with the CPC and is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with China to jointly push for greater development of bilateral cooperation in politics, economy and culture, especially in cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
