Guo Yezhou Meets with Political Leaders Delegation of the Pacific Island Countries

Beijing, November 14th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a political leaders delegation of the Pacific Island countries headed by Faaolesa Katopau Ainuu, the Human Rights Protection Party MP and Minister of Justice and Courts Administration of Samoa.

Reviewing the development achievements made in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Guo briefed on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Guo emphasized that China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Pacific Island countries in all fields, enhance political mutual trust, and push for the in-depth and solid development of China-Pacific Island countries comprehensive strategic partnership.

Faaolesa extended congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, saying that the Pacific Island countries will continue to firmly adhere to the One China policy, and hope to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides and learn from China's development experience to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
