Qian Hongshan Meets with First Seminar for Women Cadres of Foreign Political Parties

Beijing, November 14th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a the first seminar for women cadres of foreign political parties headed by member of Cambodian People’s Party and head of Judicial branch of the National Social Protection Council at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia.

Briefing on the great significance and main spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Qian said that the CPC attaches great importance to women's cause and regards women's cause as an important part of the Party's cause. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with political parties of all countries, and make positive contributions to women's cause and global women's development.

The Cambodian guest highly appreciated the great achievements the CPC has made in its governing in the past 70 years, and spoke highly of the tremendous development the People's Republic of China has made in the women's cause in the past 70 years since its founding. She emphasized that all parties participating in the seminar are ready to learn from China's valuable experience in the development of women's cause to jointly promote the development of the global women's cause.
