On the afternoon of June 11th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had exchanges via video link with Manfred Grund, Secretary-General of the Christian Democratic Union-Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag.

Qian briefed on the spirit of China’s NPC and CPPCC sessions and China’s COVID-19 response, saying that the CPC attaches importance to its exchanges with the CDU/CSU, and hopes that both sides could make joint efforts under the new circumstances and actively contributes to promoting China-Germany and China-Europe relations and the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Grund expressed the readiness to further deepen exchanges between the two Parties and scale up mutual understanding between the two countries so as to promote the sound and stable development of Germany-China and Europe China relations.
