Chen Zhou Meets with a Delegation of the UDA of Kenya

Beijing, May 22nd—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) of Kenya led by Cleophas Malala, UDA's Secretary-General.  


Chen spoke highly of the relations between the two Parties and two countries, providing an in-depth overview of China's concepts of policies toward Africa and the achievements in China-Africa cooperation. He said, the Chinese side is willing to work with the Kenyan side to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President William Ruto on the development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries, maintain the momentum of frequent high-level exchanges, deepen the exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, boost bilateral practical cooperation, strengthen coordination on international and regional affairs, and promote in-depth development of China-Kenya comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.  

Malala said, the Kenyan side admires the great achievements made by the CPC in uniting and leading the Chinese people and thanks the Chinese side for its strong support for Kenya's economic and social development. President William Ruto is committed to further deepening the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. The UDA hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, and learn from the CPC's experience in state governance and administration, so as to better benefit the two peoples.
