Beijing, June 24th—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with the "China Insight" Delegation of European China Experts.
Ma welcomed the delegation to China, stating that China has always viewed China-Europe relations from a strategic height and a long-term perspective. He emphasized that China and Europe share broad consensus with significant cooperation potential in areas such as maintaining world peace and development, and promoting a global green and low-carbon transition. He expressed that both sides should deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, properly manage differences through dialogue and consultation, and accommodate each other's reasonable concerns. The Chinese side is willing to maintain close communication with the European side, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and contribute to world peace and development.
The European side expressed that both Europe and China are staunch supporters of free trade and multilateralism, and expressed the hope that both sides will strengthen communication, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and jointly address various global challenges.
