Beijing, June 28th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Dino Patti Djalal, founder of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) and former Deputy Foreign Minister of Indonesia, who was in China to attend the conference marking 70th anniversary of Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.
Sun said that President Xi Jinping, in his important speech at the commemorative event, emphasized that the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind Vision of Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind carries forward the same spirit of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, as they both reflect the commitment of CPC to making new and greater contributions to humanity. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Global South, including Indonesia, to jointly promote peace and stability of the world and the region, and to build a community with a shared future for mankind together.
Dino stated that President Xi's speech profoundly elucidated the essence of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, highlighting China's diplomatic tenets of self-confidence, self-reliance, justice, and the firm determination to build a new type of international relations and open new horizons for peaceful cooperation. The FPCI is committed to promoting the spirit of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and the Bandung Conference, aiming to make greater contributions to the better development of Indonesia-China relations and build a more peaceful and prosperous world.
