June 28th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of Romanian friendly personages led by Flavius Caba-Maria, President of the Middle East Political and Economic Institute in Romania.  

Chen said, the two peoples enjoy profound friendship, which has laid a solid social foundation for China-Romania traditional friendship. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the two sides should make joint efforts to promote the steady and long-term development of China-Romania comprehensive friendly cooperative partnership in the new historical era.  

The delegation praised Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the significant initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping, recognizing their crucial roles in promoting development both in China and globally. They expressed their willingness to leverage the traditional friendship between the two countries to contribute to the future advancement of China-Romania relations within their respective fields.
