Beijing, July 15th—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with José Julio Gómez, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic and Secretary of International Affairs of the Modern Revolutionary Party of the Dominican Republic.  

Ma congratulated President Luis Abinader on his re-election and positively evaluated the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He expressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges, enhance coordination, deepen friendship with the Modern Revolutionary Party, and promote the continuous development of relations between the two countries.  

Gómez stated that the government of the Dominican Republic firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to deepen cooperation with China in such fields as economy, trade, and investment. The Modern Revolutionary Party is ready to enhance friendly exchanges with the CPC, and strengthen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, so as to better benefit the people of both countries.
