Beijing, July 22nd—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of cadres of political parties from North African countries. The delegation was led by Mohamed Sabbari, Member of the National Council of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), and First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Li provided an in-depth briefing on the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Speaking highly of China-Africa and China-Arab relations, Li expressed the Chinese side's willingness to seize the opportunity presented by the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to build a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future with African countries. The Chinese side is ready to work with Arab states to implement the outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit and the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and strive to build a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era. The CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with the political parties in North African countries, guide practical cooperation, strengthen solidarity and coordination, promote people-to-people bond, and push for greater development of China-North Africa relations.
Sabbari said, China is a reliable and good partner of Africa, especially North African countries. More and more regional countries are turning their attention to China and looking forward to deepening cooperation with China in various fields. Arab states appreciate China's just position on the Palestinian issue and hope that the Chinese side will play a bigger role in ending the conflict in Gaza. China's experience is not a slogan, but a practical and effective way to solve practical problems, which is worth learning from for developing countries. Political parties in North African countries are willing to learn from the CPC's successful practices in poverty alleviation and economic development.
