Beijing, August 23rd—Ma Hui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation of Brazilian journalists.

Ma spoke highly of the China-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership, emphasizing that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Brazilian side to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, take the opportunity of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Brazil diplomatic relations to enhance political and strategic mutual trust, deepen media exchanges and cooperation, and make greater contributions to the building of a China-Brazil community with a shared future. Ma emphatically introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the Chinese side is ready to deepen exchanges and mutual learning with the Brazilian side, jointly enrich the path to modernization, and deliver more benefits to the people of each country and the people of the world.

The Brazilian side said, Chinese modernization's tremendous achievements inspire Brazil to explore a modernization path that suits its national conditions. They expressed the readiness to do more and do better to report China and the CPC, so as to create a good public opinion atmosphere and consolidate the public opinion foundation for continuous and in-depth development of the Brazil-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
