Beijing, August 23rd—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Vahe Gevorgyan, Armenian Ambassador to China.

Chen introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and spoke positively of the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Armenia. He said the CPC is willing to strengthen friendly exchanges with major political parties of Armenia, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration, and promote the development of China-Armenia relations and practical cooperation in various fields.

Gevorgyan said, Armenia-China relations develop steadily, with broad prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fields. The Armenian side supports major political parties of Armenia in deepening exchanges with the CPC to push Armenia-China relations to a higher level.
