Beijing, August 28th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Juan Ignacio Latorre, Member of the Chilean Senate and former leader of the Democratic Revolution Party.

Ma introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, stating that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration with the parties of the ruling coalition of Chile, and make positive contributions to promoting respective national construction and economic and social development.

Latorre said, since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Chile and China, successive Chilean governments have consistently adhered to the one-China principle. He expressed that the parties within Chile’s ruling coalition are willing to promote Chile-China exchanges and cooperation in various fields through inter-party channels to further advance the sustained and in-depth development of the Chile-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
