Beijing, September 10th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of scholars of think tanks from Arab countries led by Musa Shteiwi, President of the Economic and Social Council of Jordan. 

Li thoroughly introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the Chinese side is willing to, together with the Arab side, implement the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and Arab leaders, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration and mutual learning among civilizations, promote the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative, strengthen communication and coordination on international and regional hotspot issues, and contribute to the building of a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era. 

Shteiwi said, the Arab side highly appreciates the series of important initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping on developing China-Arab and China-Africa relations, and admires the tremendous achievements of Chinese modernization. It is willing to learn experience in state governance and administration from the Chinese side, and continuously promote practical cooperation between China and Arab countries in various fields such as politics, economy and culture for new progress. The Arab side expects the Chinese side to play a greater role in promoting regional peace and stability.
