Beijing, October 17th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a working group of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation led by Leonid Kalashnikov, Vice Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.

Chen gave a detailed briefing on the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Chen said, the CPC is willing to deepen the traditional friendship with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, promote practical cooperation in various fields, and make greater contributions to promoting the continuous development of China-Russia relations in the new era.

Kalashnikov said, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will actively promote the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to the Russian society, strengthen ideological and theoretical exchanges and exchanges at all levels with the CPC, and earnestly promote new development of Russia-China relations and cooperation in all fields.
