Beijing, October 16th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation led by Prince Norodom Chakravuth, President of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia.

Zhao spoke highly of the development of China-Cambodia relations and practical cooperation in various fields. He said, the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the FUNCINPEC Party, carry forward the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia, and promote the building of a high-quality, high-level and high-standard China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era.

Chakravuth spoke highly of China's great development achievements. He said, the FUNCINPEC Party attaches great importance to developing its relations with the CPC, and will firmly pursue a friendly policy toward China, so as to contribute to the development of Cambodia-China relations.
